  • Not sure if there's a team near you? Check Our Locations before applying.
  • Identify a Site Liaison to serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Confirm support from your principal, site director, or community center leader. 
  • Designate a consistent practice schedule (same days/times each week)
  • Provide a safe outdoor space for the team and an indoor space for inclement weather. 
  • Recruit 2-4 volunteer coaches (we can help if needed). 
  • Review the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole Brochure for all program details and requirements. 
  • Submit your Fall site application now through early September. To learn more, contact elizabeth.mcgann@girlsontherun.org.

Site Liaison Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main point of contact for families, participants, and Girls on the Run staff before and throughout the program.
  • Identifies two to four coaches from your site or community community for each team*.
  • Supports participant recruitment by sharing program materials provided by Girls on th eRun and spreading the word within your school or community. 
  • Helps families navigate the registration process. 

*We can work with you to recruit coaches if you need support.
